The Endocrinology department offers a broad range of services and treatments including diabetes treatment, treatment for thyroid disorders, hypo thyroid treatment, enlarged thyroid treatment, under active thyroid treatment, growth abnormalities in children, pubertal disorders, hypogonadism in males and females, osteoporosis, pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders and adrenal gland disorder treatment, obesity management, hormone replacement therapy and common endocrine problems in women like polycystic ovarian disease and hirsutism.

The diagnosis and treatment of endocrine diseases are guided by laboratory tests to a greater extent than for most specialties. The department is equipped with state-of-the art facilities for hormone assay and endocrine stimulation and suppression tests. An excellent Nuclear Medicine facility for diagnostic imaging for endocrine diseases and ablative therapy in thyroid diseases is available. The availability of the 1.5 Tesla MRI and 64 slice CT scan helps in the accurate diagnosis of pituitary and adrenal disorders. Endocrine emergencies and Critical Care services are available round the Clock.
